
Maria Island Hike to Higher Education
Six Year 10 students, accompanied by Ms Andrew, recently participated in the Maria Island ‘Hike to Higher Education’. The annual four day camp, organised by Anglicare Victoria, and led by student mentors from Federation University , aims to encourage secondary school students to discover their passions in life and build their academic journey. AC at the Grand Prix
On Thursday 23rd March, Mr Sawyer, Mr Stevens, Kurtis Kuster, Will Townsend, Declan Barry, Logan Interlandi and I went to Albert Park in Melbourne to watch the Grand Prix practice session. We spent the day looking at cars, having drinks and snacks in the lounge and the Formula One Paddock Club. On behalf of all of us, it was a great day and a wonderful opportunity. I really enjoyed it and I’m sure the other boys did too.

Introducing Harlow
We are very excited to announce that Harlow, a certified therapy dog, had his first day at school on Tuesday. Harlow, a six-month-old Golden Retriever, is assisting Bonnie, our Psychologist, to improve students’ wellbeing. Harlow had a fantastic first day! He was exhausted by the end of the day, but loved meeting so many new people and having so many pats. AC News Launch
Last Friday saw the official launch of AC News, a student-driven project which grew out of a successful English class activity from last year. The student team is aiming to work together to bring the news of Ararat College, Australia and the world to the college community.
