
Year 7 Camp 2019
A big thank you to Year 7 Coordinator Mr Krol and to all other staff who attended last week’s Year 7 camp at Dunkeld. Our Year 7 students had a fabulous time making new friends and getting to know each other better. They also had the opportunity to get to know many of their new teachers outside of the classroom. NDIS Art Competition
At the end of last year a number of Ararat College students participated in an Art Competition organised by the NDIS to recognise the International Day of People With Disability. Congratulations to the following students who were awarded prizes : First place - Clare Clarke, Sruthi Kalluri, Tamika Moyle and Zaf Davies-Harrison, whose work “showed strong visual imagery giving a clear message that people with a disability are no different”. College Experiencing Flash Flooding
As a result of the tropical downpour-like event during period 6 on Wednesday our school experienced flash flooding. While I am confident that our school could have coped with the rain falling within our school’s grounds, our drainage network could not cope with the river of water that was flowing into our school from Barkly Street.
