Official Opening Ararat Wind Farm
On Tuesday 27th June I had the pleasure of escorting the AC News team, plus Georgia Jenkins and Gemma Hughes to the opening of the wind farm. It was an amazing experience because AC News got an exclusive interview with the Premier of Victoria, The Hon. Daniel Andrews. The Premier met AC News under a wind turbine before he arrived at the official opening. Even though the Premier was a little bit late, AC News anchorman Jack Ward got to ask his three questions. Blue Ribbon Gala
Last Friday students volunteered to assist at the annual Victoria Police Blue Ribbon Foundation Gala Night. It was held in our gym because of the renovations being done at the Town Hall. The evening was again an outstanding success. I was able to witness the amazing effort the committee puts into making the evening memorable through the decorations used, the yummy finger food and magnificent bands. I would like to thank the following students who helped out on the night: G

Year 10 Visit to Federation Uni.
Last week, the year 10 students travelled to Ballarat to visit Federation. Some students went to the Trade Campus and others went to Federation Uni Campus. We got to explore the campus and learn about different courses. There was a variety of subjects to have a look at, including areas in Medicine, Sport, Drama and Science. I enjoyed going to Fed Uni and I am now even more eager to go to a University in the future.
