Official Opening Ararat Wind Farm

On Tuesday 27th June I had the pleasure of escorting the AC News team, plus Georgia Jenkins and Gemma Hughes to the opening of the wind farm. It was an amazing experience because AC News got an exclusive interview with the Premier of Victoria, The Hon. Daniel Andrews. The Premier met AC News under a wind turbine before he arrived at the official opening. Even though the Premier was a little bit late, AC News anchorman Jack Ward got to ask his three questions. Jack was very calm despite the large number of press photographers who were taking his photo while he conducted the interview.

We then moved to the official opening. Gemma Hughes delivered a thought provoking speech on why the environment was important to her, this included her reasons to become vegetarian and how wind farms reduce our carbon footprint. I would like to thank Tanya Jackson,
