AC News Reporting From Melbourne

Four students were in Melbourne last Wednesday to cover a story for AC News alongside and NITV. The Baldau Yiooghen Youth Academy was launched by Anglicare Victoria and The Long Walk after a successful pilot phase. Claire Leggett, Hannah Burns, Emily Lewis and Jack Ward visited the city, accompanied by Ms Blamey to cover the event. The program is giving young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders the opportunity to make connections with professionals in a wide range of industries. The team conducted interviews during the day with two of the programs pilot participants, Anglicare Victoria's David Law and Nova Peris OAM. Watch AC News' segment on Instagram: @acnews_
