Legacy Anzac Day Service

On Friday 21st April ten students from Ararat College had the privilege of attending the Legacy Student ANZAC Day service at the Shrine of Remembrance in Melbourne. We were among thousands of other students, all there to share in the same eye opening experience.

Throughout the service we got to enjoy many different speakers sharing just some of their connections to ANZAC Day and what it means to them.

We’d like to thank Ararat Legacy for giving us this opportunity to attend such an event, with special mention to Legatees Mrs Radford and Mr Bowles. Also thank you to Mr Reynolds for coming along with us.

This trip is honestly a highlight for many and we encourage any student who is given the chance to attend, to go and see for themselves just how powerful this day is.
