Official Opening Barwick Park

After months of planning and hard work, the college’s new multi-surface sports facility was officially opened last Tuesday. The facility has been named “Barwick Park’ in recognition of the huge contribution made by Chris Barwick over more that twenty years of working at the college. Staff and students gathered to watch School Council President Mr Dave Sanders declare the new facility open and to see School Captain Jackson McDonald cut the ribbon. The efforts of a number of our VCAL students in helping Chris with much of the work at the new facility was also recognised, with students being awarded certificates of appreciation at the whole school assembly held to celebrate the opening.
