Year 7 2021 - Parent Information
Thank you for considering Ararat College for your child’s secondary school education. We understand with the current climate and Covid-19 restrictions, things are a little bit different. We are here to assist with the transition process as best as we can during this time.
Usually we would be holding our College Expo and parent information night for prospective students for the 2021 school year, but current circumstance do not allow us to offer the usual arrangements, so with that in mind - we will be running our 2021 Expo night a bit differently this year. Keep an eye on the Ararat College social media pages for more information about our virtual open night!

The step from primary to secondary school for many students and their families can be quite daunting. Students are now part of a much bigger school community where they are confronted with many new challenges. As students make new friends, face adolescent challenges and explore academic and co-curricular pursuits, we work hard to ensure their time at school is a safe and rewarding experience.
For these reasons we work closely with your childs primary school to gather a range of information that provides an excellent foundation for students to commence their secondary schooling. We also offer assistance to students and their families who may require extra support during the transition process. If you would like more information about support offered please contact us at the College.
